Creativity is a complex and often misunderstood trait that brings both chaos and order, leading to personal struggles and sacrifices, but ultimately giving meaning and fulfillment to life.

• 🧠 Creativity is a highly valued trait that has driven advancements in all aspects of human society, distinguishing us from chimpanzees who lack the ability to use fire for cooking.
• 🤔 Highly creative people often lead miserable lives of struggle and are often unrecognized for their creativity, as creativity is correlated with mental illness and the chances of achieving societal recognition for creativity are slim, leading to the question of what creativity really is and how it overlaps with insanity.
• 🎨 Creativity requires both originality and recognition of its value, as judged by experts in the field, and can be boiled down to the processes of thinking outside the box and avoiding an excess of originality.
• 🌪️ Creativity gives you access to chaos, allowing you to see endless possibilities, but it also fragments your identity and can lead to psychological disorders; the second process of creativity is structuring and sharing those ideas in reality.

• 😫 I struggle to make sense of my chaotic thoughts and writing, constantly revising and narrowing down to create something organized and coherent, but it still falls short of my desired level of structure.
• 💡 Creative people are sacrificial pawns in the Darwinian game of survival, but despite the high cost, they continue to pursue their nature for fulfillment.
• 🎨 Creativity brings a deep connection to the universe and gives meaning to life, making it worth the suffering.
